ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE SCHOOL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR Location Atlantic City, NJ : JobID: 771 Position Type: Secretarial/Clerical/Managerial Date Posted: 11/22/2025 Location: Administration Offices Date Available: 01/01/2024 Closing Date: 12/01/2025 12-MONTH POSITION JOB GOAL : To support and assist the School Business Administrator with all tasks, routines, details and coordination necessary for the efficient and effective operation of the total Business Office. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant has the responsibility for overall office management and coordination of secretarial and clerical staff. . QUALIFICATIONS :
  • High School diploma, equivalent and demonstrated excellence in computation and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Superior knowledge of all office procedures and the operation of all office equipment and machines.
  • Ability and desire to work with people.
  • Proficiency in shorthand preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer and word processing knowledge and skills, typing, spreadsheets and PowerPoint.
  • Previous Business Office/Secretarial experience preferred.
  • Shall obtain and keep valid Notary Public Commission.
  • Highly organized with superior attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
  • Successfully completes required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
