**Job Title: Assembler** **Location:** Hamburg, NY **Shift:** First Shift _(Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM;_ occasional Friday overtime) **Job Overview** We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team in Hamburg, NY. This role focuses on assembling piping systems for firetrucks, specifically the water system. The position requires strong mechanical skills and basic electrical wiring experience (limited to 12V systems). Candidates should be comfortable working from blueprints and schematics in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. **Key Responsibilities** + Assemble firetruck piping systems according to blueprints and schematics + Perform basic 12V electrical wiring tasks + Use hand and power tools to cut, bend, and measure pipes + Inspect completed assemblies for quality and accuracy + Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area **Required Skills and Qualifications** + Prior experience in a manufacturing or mechanical assembly environment + Proficiency with hand and power tools + Basic math skills (addition and subtraction) + Ability to lift 40-50 lbs + Basic computer skills (Excel and Word) **Preferred Qualifications** + Mechanical aptitude, especially in automotive service or repair + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics + Physical ability to climb, twist, bend, stoop, stand, squat, and grasp + Capability to work overhead and use hands effectively **Why Join Us?** We offer a clean, well-lit, and temperature-controlled facility with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
