Your Role:
● Helping Patients: Communicate with patients by phone and email, making sure they're looked after and supported.
● Organizing Schedules: Arrange appointments efficiently to keep things running smoothly.
● Handling Finances: Use QuickBooks to manage billing and financial transactions accurately.
● Keeping Things Organized: Manage important documents and files so everyone can find what they need.
● Supporting Medication Needs: Assist in handling prescriptions and getting the necessary approvals / prior auths.
● Use persons-centered, customer service-oriented communication style to engage with patients and practice staff.
● Handle sensitive information in a confidential, respectful manner.
● Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
● Organize and schedule meetings and keep accurate record of meeting minutes.
● Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
● Ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally, responding to intake and other requests from current and potential client families and staff.
Qualifications:
● Experience: At least 4 years of experience in a medical office setting, showcasing your administrative prowess and commitment to patient care.
● Education: A Bachelor's degree is preferred, demonstrating your dedication to professional growth and expertise.
● Leadership Skills: Experience in a management role for at least 2 years, demonstrating your ability to lead and support a team.
● Proficient in technology use, including software applications in word processing and spreadsheets (MSWord, PowerPoint and Excel)
