POSITION : Behavioral Specialist Coordinator
STATUS : Full-Time; 40 hours/week
SCHEDULE / HOURS : Flexible to meet the needs of the caseload (primarly daylight)
LOCATION : Robinson Twp
SALARY : $55,000-$62,000

Citizen Care Inc., a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., provides residential, day program, habilitation, supported employment opportunities and behavioral support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are a non-profit organization, accredited by the Council on Quality & Leadership. Citizen Care has locations throughout the West Hills and South Hills of Allegheny County.

Responsibilities:

Responsible to the Director of Quality, Compliance, and Support Services to oversee and enhance behavioral support services across multiple programs. Mentoring Behavior Specialists, providing training, consultation, and feedback on behavior support plans, crisis plans, and functional behavioral assessments (FBAs), while maintaining a small caseload. The Behavioral Specialist Coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring timely documentation, demonstrating strong organizational skills, and leading meetings and trainings . Additionally, will oversee the overall development and implementation of the individual behavioral plan, in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Provide supports and interventions which focus on positive behavioral strategies  

  • Maintain a small caseload while providing additional support to Milestone Center as needed.  
  • Travel to Milestone, Citizen Care, or other locations to provide person- centered behavioral support, attend meetings, and consult with teams.  
  • Mentor behavior specialists, offering guidance, professional development, and ongoing support to promote person-centered and competency- base practices.  
  • Provide training, consultation, and feedback on behavior support plans, crisis intervention plans, and functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) , ensuring alignment with the Council on Leadership (CQL) standards for individualized services.  
  • Conduct FBA s using a holistic and person-centered approach to understand the unique needs and preferences of the individual.  
  • Develop behavioral support plans that are individualized, comprehensive, and utilize positive strategies to support the person receiving services, ensuring that plans uphold the principles of self-determination, least restrictive interventions, and personal choice in accordance with CQL.  
  • Monitor and analyze data and make changes, when necessary, based on data collection to enhance quality outcomes and personal growth for people served.  
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards while emphasizing transparency and informed decision-making.  
  • Maintain strict compliance with all Partners For Quality Corporate Personnel and Policies and Procedures, CCI agency specific Personnel and Department Policies and Procedures, State Regulations, Provider Monitoring Guidelines, and CQL Standards to ensure the highest level of service delivery.  
  • Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring all responsibilities are carried out with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for people supported.  

SALARY :

$55,000-$62,000/year depending on experience and licensure

Qualifications:
    • Master’s Degree in Social Work , Psychology, or related human service field  
    • Licensed preferred (L icensed Social Worker (L SW ) ,  Licensed Clinical Social Worker ( LCSW ) ,  Licensed Behavior Specialist ( LBS ) ,  Licensed Professional Counselor ( LPC ) , Psychologist) 
    • Two years’ experience supporting people with developmental disabilities
    • Two years’ experience in the mental health field  
    • Excellent communication and computer skills  
    • Valid driver’s license  
    • Use of personal vehicle  required
    • Act 34 and (if applicable) FBI Clearances required
Minimum Compensation: USD $55,000.00/Yr. Maximum Compensation: USD $62,000.00/Yr.
