We work closely with startup founders and hiring leaders to deliver highly-targeted, high-impact recruitment support—and we’re growing fast.


Role Overview
We’re looking for a self-starting Business Development Representative (BDR) who knows the recruitment space and can help us grow our client base. You’ll be responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and booking meetings with qualified startup prospects.

We want someone who understands the value of personalized outreach, can speak confidently about recruitment challenges, and knows how to drive conversations with decision-makers (founders, CTOs, VPs, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a lead list of opportunities using platforms like Crunchbase, LinkedIn, and AngelList.
  • Send 50+ highly personalized cold emails per week.
  • Follow up with compelling messaging (case studies, candidate examples, etc.).
  • Book qualified meetings with startup founders and hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with the founder to align BD efforts with delivery.
  • Track all outreach activity and pipeline status.

     

Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in a BD or sales role within the recruitment or staffing industry is compulsory
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience finding and qualifying leads by scraping LinkedIn for companies that are hiring
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn, Crunchbase, or other prospecting tools.
  • Highly organized and able to manage outreach cadence and CRM updates.
  • Self-driven and comfortable working remotely and independently.

     

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with early-stage SaaS or tech startups.
  • Experience working with a boutique or founder-led recruitment firm.
  • Exposure to GTM, Product, or Executive search roles.
