About This Opportunity As the CFO, you'll be a key strategic partner to the CEO, leading all financial operations while driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. What You'll Do Strategic Leadership - Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute organizational strategies and policies
- Design and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives and fuel growth
- Provide critical insights and recommendations for M&A opportunities, expansion initiatives, and other strategic decisions
- Collaborate across departments to optimize performance and control costs
Financial Excellence - Oversee comprehensive finance operations including budgeting, forecasting, SEC reporting, and cash management
- Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights to improve profitability
- Monitor key performance indicators including inventory turnover, gross margins, and operational costs
- Drive cost optimization while maintaining competitive advantage
Leadership & Development - Lead and mentor high-performing finance teams across multiple departments
- Foster an inclusive, innovative work environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement
- Identify and address skills gaps to enhance organizational capacity
Risk & Compliance - Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards
- Implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Maintain transparent financial practices across all locations
Stakeholder Relations - Prepare and communicate financial statements and performance updates
- Present to Board of Directors, investors, and key stakeholders
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and vendors
- Ensure timely reporting of critical financial data
What We're Looking For Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (required)
- MBA or equivalent preferred
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Prior public company CFO experience
- Multi-unit retail/dealership experience required
- Proven track record in change management and organizational improvement
