Job Summary This position is responsible for the development, implementation and day-to-day execution of digital marketing campaigns relating to communications, social media, retargeting, and video marketing. A passion for social media trends, culture, digital marketing, and creative storytelling will be essential in driving our agency's success and delivering exceptional results for our clients. The ideal candidate has a strong mix of creative and analytical skills; is a self-starter with a positive and flexible attitude, willing to take on new challenges with a 'can do' attitude. This person must have a deep understanding of global social media platforms and email communication methods and strategy, as well as the ability to establish a funnel for growth in those areas. The winning candidate will have a solid grasp of how a B2B sales and marketing funnel can be augmented by social channels and multimedia avenues to extend the reach of content, attract visitors to owned web properties, and generate leads. This ideal candidate will also:
  • Stay in tune to the latest marketing and communication trends and technologies, be able to own and manage projects from concept through delivery/evaluation, and overcome obstacles with a creative, thoughtful and tenacious approach.
  • Strategize for our digital media team and create an approach that drives inbound leads, optimizes visibility, builds awareness with our target audience, and positions our brands and company for growth and success in the digital space.
  • Utilize digital marketing techniques to optimize content for search engines and increase visibility.
  • Incorporate SEO best practices into content creation to drive organic traffic.
  • Lead digital advertising and retargeting efforts, social media strategy and execution, including the development of creative and multimedia content for platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and how each platform can be utilized in varying scenarios to achieve different outcomes.
  • Plan, manage and execute paid search/Pay Per Click (PPC) campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management.
  • Work closely with analytics team to measure the success of digital, email marketing and social media campaigns.
  • Use data and analytics to drive decisions that will increase effectiveness of email engagement, website, and social media assets.
  • Assist in developing innovative, creative, and strategic video and digital marketing solutions to support high priority marketing and communications objectives.
  • Remain current on communication trends to provide innovative recommendations and develop creative content.
  • Have experience leading digital communications strategies, including intranet sites, print campaigns, email, social media and/or mobile communication.
  • Develop and implement digital content strategy that aligns with TruChoice priorities; manage development of content for all digital properties including, websites, email marketing, social media channels.
  • Stay on top of new trends, features, and products in digital content production and implement as appropriate to increase audience and engagement.
  • Implement A/B testing structure around communication and creative assets
  • Ensure that digital content meets all applicable branding standards, plain language standards, style guidelines and reflects organizational values and priorities; develop and manage implementation of strategy for search engine optimization.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure high quality and error-free content.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and develop content strategies.
  • Possess strong writing skills, attention to detail and be a proactive thinker.
  • Be a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary (i.e., graphics direction, social support, video production, etc.).
  • Must be comfortable managing your own workload and prioritize requests while working in a high-volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment.
  • Minimum Education, Training, and Experience
    • The successful candidate will have a 4-year degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in multimedia marketing, digital media content creation and brand management and/or marketing communications. They must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and experienced in working with social media and communication applications. WordPress, Photoshop, Canva, Google Forms, Google analytics, and Google Office/Microsoft Office. Graphic design experience and/or photography or video shooting or editing experience is a plus but not required.
