Grooming Assistant – Full & Part-Time

A local dog grooming spa is seeking full- and part-time Grooming Assistants to join our team in a cage-free, full-service dog spa in Oxford, MS. Our focus is on the emotional well-being of the dogs we work with, ensuring a stress-free and compassionate grooming experience.

Responsibilities:

• Bathe, dry, and brush dogs
• Trim nails, clean ears, and brush teeth
• Assist stylists during grooming sessions
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the day
• Identify potential health concerns (e.g., ear infections, skin conditions, dental issues) and accurately relay information to pet owners
• Follow best practices to ensure a safe and positive experience for all pets

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of professional animal care experience
• Self-motivated with strong leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving history
• Background check required
• Professional references

Schedule: 4-8 hour shifts available
