We’re looking for a skilled Electronic Equipment Repair Technician who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys solving complex problems with precision and care.
As part of our dedicated team, you'll work with both low and high voltage systems, ensuring that vital rail components—from power supplies to digital video recorders and communication modules—are running at peak performance. Whether you’re diagnosing a tough circuit board issue or performing preventive maintenance, your work will play a key role in keeping rail operations safe and smooth.
Troubleshoot & Repair: Identify and resolve faults in a variety of electronic systems including circuit boards, Ethernet switches, DVRs, and information displays.
Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to maximize system uptime and longevity.
Precision Testing: Use advanced diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers to verify and fine-tune electronic components.
Documentation & Compliance: Keep detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety and industry standards.
Inventory Oversight: Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to keep your workspace fully stocked and ready.
Field Support: Occasionally assist field service teams with on-site diagnostics and repairs.
Stay Sharp: Continuously update your technical knowledge through training and hands-on experience.
Education: Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field.
Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience in electronics repair and system diagnostics.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Proficient in soldering (IPC 7711/7721 certification to be obtained within a set timeframe).
Comfortable reading electronic schematics and blueprints.
Detail-oriented with solid manual dexterity.
Clear communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Tech-savvy with good computer literacy.
Certifications: Certified Electronics Technician (CET) preferred—but we value experience just as much.
