Environmental Health and Safety Engineer Location: Chandler, AZ, US, 85226 Job Category: Environmental Health and Safety Shift: Shift 1 Full Time / Part Time: Full-Time Job Level: Individual Contributor Approximate Travel: 25% Job Description: **Summary:** This role is responsible for implementing, coordinating, and monitoring safety and health programs and for developing, implementing and monitoring initiatives to engage employees in the safety and health programs. **Essential Functions:** + Maintains safety management programs to ensure compliance and objectives. + Contributes to initiatives to engage employees in the safety and health programs + Ensures employees are trained in Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) programs. Utilizes support structure that fosters employee engagement. + Performs hazard risk analysis, determination of effective controls and risk mitigation. + Contributes to safety incident investigation teams to determine root cause, corrective and preventive actions. + Coordinates ergonomic, injury case management and return to work programs. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in related field.
