Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Finance Manager at GDIT. Here, you’ll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Finance.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a Finance Manager, you will be leading a delivery line within the Defense Finance team to drive superior financial performance. You will lead a team of two financial analysts. The selected individual will have a flexible/hybrid work arrangement and be expected to work in GDIT's Falls Church, Virginia office 3 days per week.

Partner with the Program/Ops Team

• Close working relationship with Sector VP, Program Manager, Contracts, and Subcontracts

• Strong voice and financial leader of the team

• Providing real-time financial impacts of hiring decisions across program

Program Finance Reporting

• Estimated to Complete (ETCs)/Estimates at Completion (EACs)

• Monthly review of program to status financial health

• Program level P&L and program investment outlooks

Financials, Forecasting, and Budgeting

• 5 year strategic plan financials, monthly & quarterly forecasts for revenue, profit, direct labor, subcontract costs and other direct and indirect costs.

• Revenue recognition and at Risk coordination

• Variance analysis and other ad hoc analysis

• Responsible for budget planning and supporting the Program and Operation leadership team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the program.

Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations

Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures

People development, cross-training and career coaching

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your financial and leadership expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Finance Manager must have:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Experience: 8+ years of related experience and experience managing people

● Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, EAC's, and working with government contracts
● Technical skills:

• Proficient in Excel

• Experience with Oracle Financials, Oracle Analytics

● Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: Candidate should be willing to travel to customer sites on a quarterly basis.

● Hybrid: Must be able to go into Falls Church, VA 3+ days a week
