Job Description

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in Enterprise software and Server Administration or similar roles.
  • Experience with systems implementation projects.
  • Proficient in script writing and scheduling.
  • Knowledge of system administration best practices, Microsoft client/server Operating Systems, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and file transfer technologies.
  • Adaptability to learn new software systems and technology efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems, M365 Administration, and Microsoft Exchange Server (both On-Prem and Exchange Online) is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSA or CompTIA are a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • I will analyze, design, support, and document our enterprise messaging and file transfer systems. As an integral project leader, I will actively participate in designing system solutions, manage configurations, perform testing and quality control, oversee implementation, and provide ongoing user support through training, maintenance, and troubleshooting. My responsibilities also include provisioning, modifying, and terminating access to secure systems within our environment.
  • I will perform technical assessments, analysis, configurations, testing, and documentation for both new and existing systems. Additionally, I will assist in the implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of third-party client-server software application systems, including but not limited to Microsoft SQL Server, Exchange, Teams, MoveIt, and GoAnywhere. I will conduct market research related to solution requirements and communicate with external vendors regarding systems and third-party applications.
  • Documenting processes and system designs is crucial, and I will produce user and admin training guides as needed. I will support users by designing and conducting training programs, manage software installations and upgrades, assist in budgeting by gathering financial requirements, and support internal and external audits by compiling necessary deliverables. I will also strive to keep my knowledge current through educational opportunities and contribute to organizational goals by accepting ownership of new and different requests.
