**Maintenance Electrician** **Job Description** + The Maintenance Specialist ET is responsible for conducting planned maintenance activities, installing, maintaining, and operating all plant electrical systems. + The role involves troubleshooting and programming PLCs, observing safety regulations, and ensuring GMP and quality standards are met to maintain efficient production flow. **Responsibilities** + Install, maintain, and operate all plant electrical systems, including switch gear, high/low voltage systems, drives, parts, and lighting. + Set up electronic equipment for scheduled production runs. + Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electronic equipment, such as wiring, scales, and metal detectors. + Troubleshoot and program PLCs and encoder systems, including wiring. + Conduct daily/weekly electrical preventive maintenance. + Fabricate custom electronic parts as needed. + Implement safety devices on production lines. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting to diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment. + Preventive maintenance to ensure equipment functionality and minimize downtime. + Experience with wiring and running conduit for special projects or installations. + Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + PLC certification preferred. + Knowledge of plant safety, GMPs, and confined spaces. + Familiarity with electronic testing equipment and planned maintenance. + Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and prints. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $39.07 - $39.07/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
