Job Description

WDAY, the number #1 station located in the Fargo, ND-Moorhead, MN metro area, is looking for a News/Sports Multimedia Journalist to join our award-winning team. As an MMJ, you will be responsible for writing stories, conducting interviews, shooting video and edit stories for our award-winning newscasts. You will be doing live reporting, reporting on breaking news and sports stories as they happen. You will have the opportunity to work on your anchoring skills and fill-in anchor for both news and sports. The successful candidate will have exceptional written, communication and organizational skills. While a college degree in journalism or a related field is preferred, we are willing to train the right person. We produce over 35 hours of local news, weather and sports content each week as we continue to grow our staff in the news departments.    Expected compensation for this role is between $17 and $19/hour, based on qualifications and experience.
