**Location: MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick**
**Bi-weekly Hours: 24.00**
**Shift:** **7a-3:30p/ 3p-11:30p/ 11p-7:30a;** **Rotating Weekends & Holidays**

**_All Acute Care Adult Specialty units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring capability._**

_Primary Patient Population:_
+ Trauma
_Primary skills utilized/learned:_
+ Vital Signs, cardiac monitoring, trauma care
+ Complex wound care & psychosocial care
+ Answering call lights and assisting patients as needed
+ Time management, critical thinking
_Personnel RN will work with_ _:_
+ LPNs, Registered Nurses, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, WOCN, Social Work
_Number of beds on unit:_
+ 34 beds (14 private rooms, 10 semi-private rooms)

Required Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
+ Ability to work in a team environment while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, initiative, and effectively problem-solving skills.
+ Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Registered in good standing as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) with the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) Nurse Aide Registry (NOTE: Maintaining ODH Registry status as a STNA is optional after employment in this position).
+ 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Nurse Assistant in a hospital.
