PURPOSE:
We are seeking an enthusiastic People & Learning Coordinator to assist with administering industry-leading onboarding and training programs. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the Hyatt broader Franchise and Owner Relations Group (FORG) team where you'll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. You'll join a team that is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion and is committed to nurturing curiosity, building new skills, and fostering connections across the organization.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a People & Learning Coordinator, you will be supporting the People & Learning initiatives and programs, contributing to the delivery of effective learning experiences by ensuring successful production and execution of training events. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape the experiences of different audiences through meaningful and impactful learning initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
Project Planning & Administrative Support
Manage the People & Learning Smartsheet for tracking program deliverables and timelines
Participate in weekly meetings to determine inbound requests, prioritize projects, and align on team capacity
Provide day-to-day administrative support for all People & Learning program components
Content Management
Update facilitator scripts, participant workbooks, internal documents, and PowerPoint slide decks
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and consistency
Support content translation efforts with internal tools and/or external vendors
Align participant emails and materials with updated content and audience profiles
My Learning Administration
Audit and update learning sessions in the LMS, ensuring correct prerequisites, attendance, and timing
Create, adjust, and close out classes as needed, including one-off sessions for scheduling exceptions
Mark completions and ensure accurate credit assignments
Summarize survey responses to evaluate and improve the learning experience
Communications & Coordination
Draft and manage program-related email communications (e.g., pre-work, reminders, follow-ups)
