Job Description

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Research Assistant, Medical Affairs to support a global medical manufacturing leader in San Diego, CA. Location: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite | Office in San Diego, CA

Pay: $30–$40/hour

Duration: Temporary Assignment

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare and edit research reports, posters, abstracts, and presentations
  • Conduct detailed proofreading and formatting for publication deliverables
  • Coordinate the submission of scientific manuscripts and abstracts through portals
  • Manage and track publication deliverables using systems like Veeva MedComms, Arena, and DocuSign
  • Facilitate meetings and communications between internal and external research stakeholders
  • Support documentation efforts for real-world evidence (RWE) and internal research projects
  • Conduct literature reviews and generate summaries to inform manuscripts and clinical design
  • Maintain research records, shared directories, bibliographies (e.g., EndNote), and publication archives
  • Provide logistical support for conference-related activities (meetings, note-taking, coordination)
  • Ensure research activities comply with all regulatory and ethical standards

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional written communication and proofreading ability
  • Strong data presentation and documentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Comfortable with research protocols, tools, and platforms (e.g., Veeva, EndNote)
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Adaptable, with a curiosity to learn and grow in a scientific setting

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (science or public health field preferred)
  • Master’s degree a plus
  • 1–2 years’ experience in research roles within medical device, biotech, CROs, or academic institutions
