Job Description

The Retail Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of all retail foodservice outlets within the hospital, including the cafeteria, coffee shop, grab-and-go stations, and catering services. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and alignment with Culinour’s brand standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee front-of-house operations across multiple retail venues.
  2. Lead, coach, and develop a team of hourly associates and supervisors.
  3. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
  4. Manage inventory, ordering, merchandising, and vendor relationships.
  5. Drive retail sales through facility wide marketing initiatives, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
  6. Monitor and manage financial performance by tracking retail sales, appropriate pricing structure through the POS, tracking products sold, and cash management.
  7. Accountable for hourly cash handling training and monitoring.
  8. Collaborate with hospital departments to support patient and staff engagement.
  9. Coordinate catering services including menu planning and pricing, staffing, and execution.
  10. Analyze customer feedback and implement service improvements.

 

Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of experience in retail foodservice management, preferably in healthcare or hospitality.
  2. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business, or related field preferred.
  3. Proven leadership and team development skills.
  4. Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems; experience with UKG or similar platforms a plus.
  7. ServSafe certification required or ability to obtain within 30 days.
  8. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Salary Range: $90K - $100K
