Are you a detail-oriented Senior Accountant looking for a contract opportunity with a dynamic, publicly traded biotech company? Our client is seeking a skilled professional for a 4-month contract with a mostly remote schedule—only one day per week on-site at their South San Francisco headquarters.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage monthly close processes, including journal entries, prepaid accounts, accruals, lease accounting, and software capitalization.
Review expenses and accruals to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Perform account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
Support SEC filings by preparing necessary backup schedules.
Conduct flux analysis to track financial fluctuations.
Prepare and complete PBC (Prepared by Client) schedules as required.

Qualifications & Skills:
Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
Experience with monthly and quarterly close processes.
Familiarity with SEC reporting and compliance.
Proficiency in account reconciliations and accrual management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
