Position: Senior Tax Accountant

Location: Armonk, NY

Job Type: Full time Permanent with Direct client

Role Description

The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring tax compliance, preparing financial statements in support of tax filings, and performing other accounting duties. The role involves staying current with tax regulations, advising clients on tax strategies, and working closely with other team members to deliver accurate and timely financial reports and tax filings.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tax Compliance, , and overall Tax knowledge for individuals, businesses, not-for-profit, trusts, and estates for domestic and international clients
• Desire to learn and hone skill set, strong research and project management skiis
• Strong skills in preparing Financial Statements and maintaining accurate accounting records
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in accounting software Tax Preparation and MS Office Suite, CCH Axcess, Quick Books, Excel spreadsheets, etc
