Position Summary

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be expected to be a proactive and results-oriented team player. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to, sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent to foster business growth. Collaborating closely with the Human Resources/Talent Acquisition Manager, you will ensure that all open positions are filled promptly, engage in career fairs, and execute effective hiring strategies. Furthermore, you will offer training and support to hiring managers and other stakeholders to improve the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute successful recruitment strategies to draw in top talent in collaboration with the HR/TA Manager.
  • Oversee and publish job listings by making extensive use of our applicant tracking system and candidate communication tools to facilitate an effective recruitment process.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Track key recruiting metrics, such as time to fill, time to hire, and source effectiveness, to identify areas for improvement and optimize the recruitment process.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified trades professionals to meet both current and future hiring demands.
  • High-Volume Recruiting: Manage full-cycle recruitment for multiple openings in skilled positions, ensuring timely and efficient hiring.
  • Conduct phone and in-person interviews, skills assessments, reference and background checks upon hire. 
  • Partner with hiring managers to gain insight into their recruitment needs and preferences. Provide guidance on the recruitment process while ensuring that all parties adhere to the established procedures.
  • Ensure that hiring managers receive training and support regarding the recruitment process, best practices, and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Analyze recruitment data metrics and offer insights to enhance internal hiring processes.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations across NJ, PA, TN, and any other states in which we operate.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with external recruitment partners, vendors, staffing clients, and others.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as needed. 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of high-volume recruitment experience, in a fast-paced environment and high growth organizations, meeting aggressive hiring targets and deadlines - Required
  • 2+ years of knowledge in sourcing strategies in high-turnover environments, including within the construction, landscaping and administrative industries - Required  
  • 2+ years of proven track record of successfully recruiting and hiring top talent, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Required
  • 3+ years of experience and proficiency in Google Suite ( i.e. Google Sheets, Docs, Forms, Drive ) - Required  
  • 3+ years of proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) , with experience in JazzHR being a plus!
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions at once.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage effectively with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations and market insight including salary guides, etc. 
  • High volume recruitment staffing agency experience is a plus! 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent working experience - Required

Position Salary
Full-Time | $45k - $60k annual salary DOE | Hybrid Work Model (4x week onsite/1x week WFH)
*Looking for immediate hire, start as of March 2025*
