Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard

Location:  Cleveland

Duties:

• Observation: observe suspicious personnel or personnel behaving inappropriately and showing hostility.
• Monitor potentially unauthorized personnel.
• Assistance: assist Police and personnel with incapacitated patients as needed.
• Customer Service : shall meet and interact with the general public in a manner that promotes a positive image of the VA.
• Shall serve at fixed posts or patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle.
• Shall direct traffic, control parking, and issue courtesy violation notices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be literate in English to the extent of reading and understanding printed regulation, detailed written orders, training instruction and material.
• Must have the ability to meet and deal with the public in a professional manner.
• Shall be properly licensed by Federal, State, and local authorities.
